Full Candidate Lists Are Now Available for Mecklenburg & Iredell Counties

Election season is officially underway—and whether you’re team early voting or team “remind me again who’s running,” now’s the perfect time to get familiar with the names you’ll be seeing on your 2025 municipal ballot.

Both Mecklenburg and Iredell County Boards of Elections have released their official candidate lists, and it includes key races for mayor, town commissioner, and school board across the Lake Norman region.

MECKLENBURG COUNTY

The Mecklenburg County ballot includes candidates for:

• Cornelius

• Huntersville

• Davidson

• Charlotte
