There’s been no shortage of dry weather lately, in fact our drought is really getting serious at this point and we could use a good rainy day! It’s just not in the cards for a while.
Big time heat, at least by April standards, continues to rule the forecast through the end of the week and the start of the weekend. Our high temps will hover around 90° if not some low 90s for some of the LKN area, through Saturday.
Sunday brings our first chance of rain in a while, although it’s low right now. Sunday will be cooler with highs in the upper 70s as a front rolls through the area. Don’t expect much rain, but we’ll take anything we can get. There’s a low chance for a few showers or an isolated storm Sunday afternoon. We’ll start next week a bit cooler with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
