If you thought Cornelius couldn’t possibly get any cuter, just wait until Robbins Park goes to the dogs—literally. On Sunday, September 28th from 2–5 PM, hundreds of pups (and their people) will gather for the 25th Annual All American Dog Show, and trust me, it’s paws-itively one of the most beloved events of the year.
This isn’t just a dog show—it’s a full-blown tail-wagging festival. Picture it: contests like Best Dressed, Best Owner Lookalike, and my personal favorite, Most “Ear-Resistable” Ears. Add in food trucks like CFT Bistro and The Dusty Moon, a pet-friendly photo booth, agility courses, and vendors galore, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate Sunday Funday… but with way more barking.
Early-bird registration is just $6 (day-of is $10), and includes entry into two contests plus a special gift for the first 100 pups signed up. Spectators? You’re free to come, cheer, and take way too many pictures of strangers’ dogs—no judgment here.
Schedule Highlights:
🐕 2:00 PM: Registration & Check-In
🎉 2:30 PM: Shelter Strut Kick-Off Parade
🏆 2:45 PM: Contests Begin
So grab your lawn chair, your furry sidekick, and maybe a lint roller (you’ll need it later). Whether your pup’s a seasoned competitor or just there for the treats, the All American Dog Show is the kind of community event that makes living in Lake Norman feel like… well, home.
