Lake Norman Woman of the Year Gala Raises $16,000 for Local Nonprofits

They say it takes a village—and wow, Lake Norman, you showed up.

We’re still riding the high (and maybe still finding a few sequins) from the inaugural Lake Norman Woman of the Year Gala, where together we raised an incredible $16,000 for our community.

Half of the proceeds—$8,000 each—were donated to our nonprofit partners, Pharos Parenting and Mooresville Community Children’s Theater, two organizations that are making real, lasting change right here at home. From strengthening families to inspiring young performers, their work represents the very best of what it means to be Lake Norman.

This night was more than gowns, champagne, and celebration (though we had plenty of that, too). It was a reminder of how powerful it is when women—and the people who support them—come together with purpose.

To our sponsors, guests, and every single person who contributed: thank you for believing in our mission to celebrate, empower, and uplift women in our community. Because of you, this event didn’t just sparkle—it made an impact.

We can’t wait to do it again next year, even bigger and even brighter. Until then, here’s to the women (and the community) that make Lake Norman shine.
