A friendly monster is hiding throughout Downtown Mooresville this month, and families are invited to join the search.
Throughout June, the Find Normie Scavenger Hunt encourages residents and visitors to explore Downtown Mooresville while searching for hidden versions of Normie, the beloved Lake Norman Monster. The free community event runs from June 1 through June 30 and offers a fun way to discover local businesses while enjoying a family-friendly adventure.
Participants can pick up a Find Normie Passport and visit participating downtown locations in search of the hidden monsters. Each time a Normie is found, participants can collect a stamp on their passport as they work their way through the scavenger hunt.
Along the way, families will have the opportunity to explore local shops, support small businesses, and experience everything Downtown Mooresville has to offer. Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, the hunt provides a unique reason to spend time in the heart of the community.
As participants collect stamps, they can earn prizes and qualify for a grand prize drawing at the conclusion of the event. Organizers hope the scavenger hunt encourages people to discover new businesses while creating memorable experiences with family and friends.
Passports can be picked up at Fred & June’s Books, which serves as the official Normie Headquarters, or downloaded online before beginning the hunt. The event is free and open to all ages, making it an easy addition to summer plans around Lake Norman.
If you’re looking for a fun way to explore Downtown Mooresville this month, grab a passport and start your search. You never know where Normie might be hiding next.
