Cain Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce its Fall 2026 Performing Arts Season, featuring an exciting mix of world-class performances across genres. Audiences can look forward to high-energy tribute bands, award-winning musicians, laugh-out-loud comedy, captivating theater, and family-friendly entertainment. “As we enter into our fourth Fall Performing Arts Season, we are excited to continue to offer Lake Norman Audiences a blend of high quality performances that we are confident they will love. Cain Center and DCP Unite for Broadway Hit Million Dollar Quartet
Cain Center for the Arts and Davidson Community Players are joining forces for a landmark co-production of Million Dollar Quartet, the electrifying Broadway hit that brings Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis together for one unforgettable night in music history. Running August 8 through 23, 2026, this first-ever collaboration between the two Lake Norman arts organizations marks a bold new chapter in locally produced professional theatre. Featuring iconic hits like “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line,” and “Great Balls of Fire,” the production pairs world-class storytelling with homegrown talent under the direction of Scott Albert—offering audiences a high-energy celebration created by and for the community.
Tribute Performances
Back by popular demand, Good Times Bad Times returns with its powerhouse tribute to the music of Led Zeppelin. Are You Ready For It? brings the electrifying energy of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits to life. Also returning this season, Jazz Legacy Project: Louis Armstrong Tribute honors the enduring legacy of Louis Armstrong.
New to the lineup, The Players (Formerly of the Band Chicago & Friends) delivers an evening of iconic horn-driven classics. American Elton celebrates the timeless showmanship of Elton John. To The Limit brings the soaring harmonies of the Eagles to the stage.
Experience the immersive soundscapes of Dark Echoes with their tribute to Pink Floyd. ZZ Top Notch channels the blues-driven swagger of ZZ Top. ABACAB delivers a dynamic tribute to the music of Genesis.
Rounding out the season, Simply The Best celebrates the powerhouse music of Tina Turner, Johnny Folsom 4 pays homage to Johnny Cash, and Meet Loaf brings the theatrical rock anthems of Meat Loaf to life.
Country & Americana Spotlight
This season highlights country and Americana with performances by Stundom, Chatham Rabbits, and John Schneider, offering heartfelt, roots-driven experiences shaped by authentic storytelling.
Family-Friendly Entertainment
Families can enjoy a vibrant lineup of shows designed to delight audiences of all ages. Clifford the Big Red Dog brings the beloved storybook character to life in a colorful, heartwarming stage adventure. The Amazing Bubble Factory fills the theater with larger-than-life creations in an interactive, awe-inspiring bubble spectacle. Jeki Yoo blends comedy, magic, and mind-bending visual illusions in a high-energy performance perfect for kids and adults alike.
Comedy & Variety Acts
Comedy takes the spotlight this season with standout performances from Bad Momz of Comedy, Jimmie Walker, and Tom Cotter, plus the return of Group Chat Girlies and the comedic storytelling of Jen Kober. The season also features the festive The Ugly Seasonal Sweater Soiree, the ever-popular Menopause The Musical, and the musical artistry of Salisbury Symphony Orchestra: Masquerade.
Jazz, Blues, & Soul
Jazz, blues, and soul take center stage this season with stirring performances from Tuba Skinny, bringing their signature New Orleans jazz sound to the stage, and Marty Manous, delivering electrifying modern blues guitar. The popular music lineup expands with Spyro Gyra showcasing their iconic fusion style and Masters of Soul celebrating the timeless power of classic soul music.
