Putting and Prosecco Brings a Beginner-Friendly Women’s Golf Event to Lake Norman

Golf is getting a social twist in Mooresville this September with Putting and Prosecco, a beginner-friendly team putting event designed to introduce more women to the game in a relaxed and approachable setting.

Hosted by Golf Is For Girls, the event takes place Tuesday, September 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at LAX Lounge in Mooresville. Golf Is For Girls is a female-focused golf community centered around beginner-friendly play, lifestyle, fashion, and helping grow the game among women.

Rather than heading straight for 18 holes, Putting and Prosecco keeps things simple with a team putting challenge. Participants will compete in two-person teams, working together through the competition for a chance to win prizes. No extensive golf experience is required, making the event an option for women who are curious about golf but may not be ready to step onto a full course.

The morning will also include brunch bites and beverages, adding a social element to the competition. Putting challenge entry is included with registration, along with opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.

Putting and Prosecco is part of a broader effort to make golf feel more accessible to women by creating an environment where beginners can learn, participate, and connect without the pressure that can sometimes come with trying a new sport.

Registration is $75 per two-person team, and participants will need to register with a putting partner. For women around Lake Norman looking to try golf for the first time, meet other players, or simply enjoy a different kind of morning out, the event offers an easy introduction to the game.

Registration is available through the Putting and Prosecco 2026 event page.
