Downtown Mooresville is turning into an evening of art, music and local discovery with the return of Arts & Acoustics.

On Friday, October 9, Arts & Acoustics will take over Downtown Mooresville from 6 to 9 p.m., inviting the community to spend the evening strolling through downtown while experiencing live music, local art, shopping, sips and more.

Live musicians will perform both inside and outside participating businesses throughout the evening, creating a soundtrack for exploring downtown. Local artists will also be on hand creating, displaying and selling their work, giving visitors an opportunity to meet the people behind the art and shop original pieces.

Participating downtown businesses will add to the evening with treats and specials, making Arts & Acoustics an easy opportunity to explore shops, restaurants and other local destinations along the way.

The event is presented by the Mooresville Downtown Commission in partnership with Mooresville Arts, 158 on Main and Waves Entertainment.

No tickets are required to attend, so visitors can simply head downtown, stroll at their own pace and take in the different artists, musicians and participating businesses throughout the evening.

Arts & Acoustics takes place Friday, October 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Mooresville.
