Iredell Health Foundation Opens Nominations for 2027 Woman of the Year Awards

The Iredell Health Foundation is inviting the community to recognize women who are making a difference through leadership, compassion and service. Nominations are now open for the Uplift Woman of the Year and Mission Driven Woman of the Year awards, with a submission deadline of November 13, 2026.

Both honors will be presented at the foundation’s 5th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast on March 3, 2027. The event will celebrate women whose contributions are creating positive change while benefiting the Iredell Health Foundation’s women’s health fund.

Recognizing Women Who Make a Difference

Throughout Iredell County and the greater Lake Norman community, women are making an impact through their work, leadership, volunteer efforts and dedication to others.

The foundation’s two awards provide an opportunity to recognize women whose commitment to serving and uplifting others deserves to be celebrated.

The Uplift Woman of the Year and Mission Driven Woman of the Year honors highlight the importance of recognizing women who inspire others and contribute to their communities.

Community members are encouraged to consider the women in their lives who demonstrate leadership, compassion and a commitment to making a difference.

How to Submit a Nomination

Nominations for both awards are open through November 13, 2026.

Whether it’s a community leader, volunteer, mentor or someone whose service has made a meaningful impact, the nomination process gives residents an opportunity to bring attention to women whose contributions may otherwise go unrecognized.

International Women’s Day Breakfast Returns March 3

The award recipients will be honored during the Iredell Health Foundation’s fifth annual International Women’s Day Breakfast on March 3, 2027.

The breakfast brings attention to women’s achievements and contributions while supporting the foundation’s women’s health fund.

Through the event, the foundation aims to celebrate women who lead, serve and inspire while raising awareness of the importance of supporting women’s health in the community.
