Davidson Community Players is bringing a new late-night comedy experience to Lake Norman with the debut of “Tuesday Night Live,” part of its Armour After Dark performance series.
The event takes place Tuesday, June 2 at Armour Street Theatre in Davidson and will feature an all-star lineup of Charlotte-area sketch comedians performing a series of hyper-local parody acts inspired by one of television’s most iconic comedy formats.
According to Davidson Community Players, the show will blend sketch comedy, improvisation, and community-inspired humor while poking fun at life around Lake Norman and beyond. Organizers say audiences can expect fast-paced performances, local references, and adult-oriented comedy throughout the evening.
“Tuesday Night Live” is part of the theatre’s Armour After Dark series, which activates the venue during off-nights with performances designed for adult audiences. The series includes stand-up comedy, improv, storytelling, and other live entertainment experiences aimed at expanding Davidson’s local arts and nightlife scene.
The event contains R-rated language and adult content and is recommended for audiences ages 17 and older.
In addition to the performances, beer and wine will be included for attendees.
The show will be held at Armour Street Theatre, located at 307 Armour Street in Davidson.
