One of the region’s most anticipated spring events is returning just minutes from Lake Norman. Charlotte AutoFair 2026 takes over Charlotte Motor Speedway from April 9–11, bringing together car enthusiasts, collectors, and families for a three-day celebration of automotive culture.
Known as one of the largest automotive events in the Southeast, AutoFair transforms the speedway into a lively showcase filled with classic cars, rare vehicles, and interactive experiences. With more than 50 car clubs participating, visitors can explore everything from vintage classics and American muscle to custom builds and one-of-a-kind showpieces.
This year’s event introduces new features designed to make the experience even more immersive. One of the biggest highlights is the AutoFair Track Cruise on Saturday, April 11 from 6 to 8 PM. Registered participants will have the opportunity to drive their own vehicles on the iconic 1.5-mile oval at Charlotte Motor Speedway, offering a unique behind-the-wheel experience on a track known for racing history.
Inside the speedway, the AACA Southeastern Spring National Car Show will showcase hundreds of meticulously restored vehicles, offering a closer look at automotive history and craftsmanship. Guests can also explore the Car Corral, where classic and collector cars are available for sale, as well as the expansive flea market filled with parts, memorabilia, tools, and vintage finds.
The Manufacturers’ Midway adds another layer to the event, featuring vendors and brands showcasing the latest products, accessories, and innovations in the automotive world. Whether attendees are searching for performance upgrades, restoration supplies, or simply browsing, there is something for every level of interest.
Located in Concord, just a short drive from Lake Norman, Charlotte AutoFair offers an accessible and engaging way for the community to experience a large-scale event that blends entertainment, history, and hands-on opportunities. With activities for all ages and interests, it continues to be a standout on the local events calendar each spring.
