Executive Lunch & Learn Brings Brain Performance Insights to Lake Norman

What does brain performance have to do with an afternoon slump, a high-pressure decision, or staying focused through a packed workday?

Lake Norman business leaders will get a closer look on August 18 when Dr. Tim Royer of RoyerNeuroscience hosts an Executive Lunch & Learn near Birkdale in Huntersville.

Dr. Royer has spent 34 years studying brain performance, completing more than 70,000 brain assessments and developing “brain rooms” for professional NFL and NBA teams. He also previously served as a division chief at DeVos Children’s Hospital. During the upcoming session, he’ll bring that experience into a practical conversation about something many professionals deal with every day: maintaining focus, energy, and mental presence when demands are high.

The hour-long event will explore why focus and energy often fade by mid-afternoon and how those functions can be measured in the brain. Attendees will also see a live demonstration and learn about ways to train focus without medication.

Rather than keeping the conversation theoretical, the Lunch & Learn is designed to give attendees strategies they can put to use immediately. Royer will share a two-minute reset for high-stakes moments along with one change professionals can make to their afternoon routine to help restore presence and energy.

The event takes place from noon to 1 p.m. at the 8936 Building in Northpointe Executive Park, 8936 Northpointe Executive Park Drive in Huntersville. Lunch is included, along with time for introductions and conversation with other leaders in the park.
