April is blooming with a full calendar of festivities organized by the Mooresville Downtown Commission (MDC). Join us for a month full of Downtown Mooresville fun, kicking off with the fan-favorite Festival of Food Trucks season on April 4th, the beloved #SpringIntoDowntown pop-up floral display in JF Moore Park, an Arts & Acoustics Celebration, and the annual Spring Sidewalk Sale.
The 2026 season of the Downtown Mooresville Festival of Food Trucks is loaded with live music performances, family fun, and, of course, delicious fare from food trucks across the Charlotte–Lake Norman region. The event series runs the first Saturday of each month, April through October (no July event), from 5:00–8:30 PM along Broad and Main Streets.
The upcoming April 4th event features 17 trucks*, pop-up tents from local businesses, the Downtown Mooresville social district, and live jams by Untethered Soul, bringing their unique soulful reimaginings of music that helped shape American culture. The live music stage is brought to fans in partnership with 158 on Main and Waves Entertainment. It gets crowded early, so bring a chair, bring your friends and family, hang out in the street, and enjoy delicious cuisine from a variety of trucks!

All month long, experience the #SpringIntoDowntown display crafted in partnership with the MDC and Brawley Garden Center. This colorful exhibition brings botanical beauty and creativity to JF Moore Park (corner of Main Street & Center Avenue). The full bloom arrives in early April with a special theme honoring America’s 250th birthday.
Next up is the Downtown Mooresville Arts & Acoustics Celebration, coming April 10th from 6:00–9:00 PM. The evening features arts and crafts for browsing and purchase, demonstrations by local artists, live acoustic performers, plus special sips, shopping, and strolling. Treats and refreshments will be available at participating businesses within the MDC district. This event is brought to you by the MDC in partnership with Mooresville Arts, 158 on Main, and Waves Entertainment.
Last, but certainly not least, it’s time to shop till you drop! The annual Spring Sidewalk Sale will be held Saturday, April 25th. Downtown Mooresville businesses along Broad and Main Streets will offer incredible deals, special promotions, and discounts all day long.
