Lake Norman Chamber Raises $41,000 for Local Youth Programs at Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast

The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s third annual Thanksgiving Breakfast was more than a community gathering — it was a powerful reminder of what generosity can do. This year’s event raised approximately $41,000 to support nonprofits that provide essential pre- and after-school care, early childhood education, and workforce development for students across the region.

Two organizations — Cornelius Early Scholars and Bridge of Hearts — will each receive roughly $18,000 to further their missions of supporting children and families throughout Lake Norman. The Lake Norman Education Collaborative, which prepares local high school students for technical and vocational careers, will also benefit from this year’s fundraising efforts.

“Each year, I am encouraged by the generosity of our local businesses and the spirit of service they bring to our region,” said Bob McIntosh, Managing Partner of The McIntosh Law Firm and vice chair of the Lake Norman Chamber Foundation. “Their unwavering support allows the foundation to continue making a meaningful impact, and I remain deeply grateful to be part of a community that consistently shows up for one another.”
