The Mooresville Downtown Commission (MDC) announces that Alan and Dawn Allman, owners of Jewelers on Main, have been recognized as Downtown Mooresville’s latest Main Street Champions by the North Carolina Main Street Program at the March 2026 conference in New Bern, NC. The MDC is an active member of the program, which works to stimulate economic development within the context of historic preservation across the state. The Champion award is presented annually to individuals, nominated by the MDC, who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to their downtown’s advocacy and the betterment of their communities.
Since 2012, Jewelers on Main has been part of the heartbeat of Downtown Mooresville. What started with one building and a bench jeweler’s dream has grown into a multi-building investment – complete with upper-floor living, a rooftop deck, and expanded retail with the lower-level Guns on Main opening in 2022.
