Lake Norman Rallies to Feed Families in Need This Thanksgiving

If there’s one thing about Lake Norman — we don’t just talk community, we live it.

This Thanksgiving season, local real estate duo Zack and Katrina Bonczek of The TRANSCENZ Real Estate Group at Keller Williams Lake Norman are once again spearheading a heart-filling tradition: the Thanksgiving Blessing Baskets initiative. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a powerful, community-powered effort ensuring families right here in our area can gather around a full table this holiday.

And full means full — baskets packed with Thanksgiving staples and thoughtful extras that remind families they’re supported, seen, and loved by their neighbors.

Last year, 114 families received baskets. This year, more than 114 families have already been identified by school counselors and social workers — and the need is still growing. Now is the moment for Lake Norman to do what it does best: show up.

Expect raffles, seasonal drinks, and yes — Santa is making a surprise early stop at the brewery. Because who doesn’t want holiday cheer with their community giving?

Bring your basket items, drop them off, hang out with neighbors, and kick off the season with purpose and heart.
