Did that little taste of lower humidity get you ready for Fall this week?! If not that, then maybe all the influx of Pumpkin Spice flavored drinks? Whatever gave you the Fall sense of Fall…it’s just that… False. Summer is still here and humidity is roaring back just in time for the weekend as a front approaches the Carolinas.
Stickiness and scattered storms return heading into the start of the weekend, with scattered storms likely Friday night. Saturday storm chances lower, but a few isolated storms are still possible across the area, mostly depending on where the front stalls in relation to Lake Norman. Sunday looks drier!
Highs are pretty seasonable in the mid 80s through the weekend, but we approach 90° again by early next week.
