Lakeside Artists Studio Tour Brings 20 Local Artists to Mooresville

For one weekend this October, art lovers can go beyond the gallery and step inside the creative spaces of artists working around Lake Norman.

The Lakeside Artists Studio Tour & Art Sale returns to Mooresville October 23–25, bringing together 20 artists across seven studio locations along the Brawley School Road corridor. Now in its 18th year, the free, self-guided event gives visitors three days to explore working studios, meet local artists and shop original artwork directly from the people who created it.

The tour will feature a wide range of mediums, including paintings, pottery, prints, jewelry, mixed media, woodturning, enameling, metalwork, fiber arts and leather. Artwork and handcrafted gifts will be available at a variety of price points, whether visitors are searching for a statement piece, a unique holiday gift or simply something that catches their eye.

Unlike a traditional art show where every artist gathers in one location, the Lakeside Artists Studio Tour invites visitors to create their own route among the seven stops. The studios are spread throughout the Mooresville area near Lake Norman, giving guests the opportunity to see where artists work, learn about their creative processes and hear the stories behind individual pieces.

The 2026 tour features Lynn Aultman, Sandie Bell, Janet Burgess, Terry Caruthers, Suzie Council, Sandra Eaton, Ric Erkes, Anne Harkness, Brenda Kadlecik, Debby Loflin, Rick Luttrell, Nancy Martin, Diane McDermed, Sharon Montgomery, Michael McNeilly, Barbara O’Reilly, Judy Riley, Pooja Roy, Alex Sulikowski and Beverly Walker.

The tour runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free, and visitors can explore as many of the seven studio locations as they would like throughout the weekend. A gift basket raffle will also be part of this year’s event.
