Mooresville’s favorite street party is back, and this one comes with a little Music City flair. The Downtown Mooresville Festival of Food Trucks rolls in on Saturday, September 6, 2025, and if the smell of tacos and BBQ doesn’t get you there, the music will.

Headlining the night is Cole Ritter & the Night Owls, a Nashville-based band that mixes roots, rock, and soul with a little country swagger. You might recognize Cole from American Idol Season 20 — now you can catch him live on Broad & Main Streets while you balance a plate of fried mac & cheese balls in one hand and a craft lemonade in the other.
