Pearson House of Rock, a new music hub offering education programs for students of all ages, will officially open its doors on August 17 in Cornelius, NC, serving the greater Lake Norman and Charlotte communities.
Founded by Christian Pearson, the school’s mission is to inspire and connect music lovers through shared experiences. “Creating a space where students can find their musical talent creates a dynamic and inspiring experience for all involved,” Pearson said.
Pearson previously served as general manager and music director for the School of Rock Cornelius for the past 10 years, until the local franchise recently closed. He said Pearson House of Rock builds on that legacy with a renewed focus on community. “The venue nurtures talent, supports local artists, and brings the community together through the power of music,” he said.
Pearson launched the new venture with the encouragement of former School of Rock families, along with a group of investors, including part-owner Nicholas DeVaughn. DeVaughn, who began studying music with Pearson at age 12, now serves as head instructor at the new school.
Pearson House of Rock will celebrate with a grand opening event on September 12, featuring live performances, exclusive workshops, and guided tours of the new facility.
