There’s still plenty of summer music left to enjoy as the Rock the Park Summer Concert Series continues in Downtown Mooresville. Hosted at Liberty Park through September, the free outdoor concert series brings together live music, local food trucks, hometown breweries, and a welcoming community atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
A longtime summer tradition, Rock the Park features a variety of musical genres throughout the season, making each concert a unique experience. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a date night, or an evening with friends, it’s a great way to enjoy live entertainment in the heart of the Lake Norman region.
The remaining lineup begins on Friday, July 10, with The Legacy Motown Revue, a high-energy tribute celebrating the legendary sounds of Motown and classic soul. Guests can enjoy timeless hits from artists like The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Jacksons, and Earth, Wind & Fire. This concert also serves as a special America 250 celebration, featuring patriotic activities and local vendors alongside the music.
The summer fun continues on Friday, August 7, when Yacht Rock Radio takes the stage with smooth hits from artists including Toto, Christopher Cross, The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, and Hall & Oates. The series wraps up on Friday, September 4, with the Big 80s Tribute Band, bringing the biggest rock and pop hits of the 1980s to Liberty Park for one final summer celebration. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is free, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets, grab dinner from one of the food trucks, and enjoy an evening of live music under the summer sky.
