Racing Stars Unite for the 36th Annual Stocks-For-Tots in Mooresville

Mooresville once again proved why it’s known as Race City USA as the 36th Annual Stocks-For-Tots event brought out racing fans, legendary drivers, and motorsports personalities for an unforgettable night of community impact.

Held on December 2 at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, the beloved event transformed the venue into an infield buzzing with energy. Nearly 100 racing stars—including active professional drivers, past champions, industry legends, and media personalities—spent the evening greeting fans, signing autographs, and helping raise money for children and families in need.

A Night of Racing, Giving, and Community Spirit

Each year, Stocks-For-Tots blends the excitement of motorsports with the generosity of the Lake Norman community. Fans lined up for hours to meet their favorite racing personalities while contributing to a cause that has supported families for decades.

All proceeds and toy donations from the event benefit local child abuse prevention efforts, with a primary focus on Pharos Parenting. These funds help provide critical resources such as parenting classes, home-based support services, and advocacy for vulnerable children.

A Legacy That Began in 1989

Stocks-For-Tots was founded in 1989 by Don Miller, former president of Penske Racing South and founder of the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame (NCARHOF). What began as a small holiday fundraiser has grown into one of the most meaningful annual events in the racing community.

Over the years, Stocks-For-Tots has raised more than $1 million, directly supporting children and families in the region.

Motorsports Magic Meets Meaningful Impact

From autograph sessions to heartfelt conversations, the 2025 event demonstrated once again that the racing world’s dedication extends far beyond the track. The evening served as a reminder of how powerful community can be when passion meets purpose.

As Mooresville looks ahead to the next racing season, the impact of this year’s Stocks-For-Tots will continue to ripple through the lives of children and families who need it most.
