Well is the New Wealth: A Women’s Wellness Series in Lake Norman

A new women-focused wellness series is gaining momentum in Lake Norman, offering a fresh way to connect, learn, and prioritize health. Well is the New Wealth,” presented by Iredell Health System, launched earlier this spring and continues with its second session on Thursday, April 23 in Mooresville.

Hosted at Mitchell Community College’s Mooresville campus, this complimentary brunch and learn takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in Brawley Room 105. Designed for women of all ages, the series creates a welcoming space to explore what it truly means to live well while building meaningful connections within the Lake Norman community. There is no cost to attend, making it an accessible option for those looking to invest in their health and well-being.

Session two will focus on body mechanics and injury prevention, featuring Hannah Fox, DPT, Assistant Director of Physical Therapy at Iredell Health System. Attendees will learn about posture, ergonomics, and simple everyday adjustments that can help prevent injury and support long-term wellness. The session also includes light refreshments and a Q&A, offering a relaxed and interactive environment to ask questions and gain practical insight.

As interest in local events and wellness-focused gatherings continues to grow across Lake Norman, opportunities like this provide a meaningful way to connect with others while learning from trusted professionals. Whether attending on your own or bringing a friend, the experience is designed to feel approachable, informative, and community-driven.

With space limited, early registration is encouraged. Be sure to register to reserve your spot. As Lake Norman continues to expand its lineup of community events and health-focused programming, “Well is the New Wealth” is quickly becoming a standout addition.
