Local makers, small businesses and one-of-a-kind finds are taking over Birkdale Village one Sunday each month.
The Birkdale Village Commons Market returns on the second Sunday of the month from March through October, bringing an open-air shopping experience to Huntersville from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Curated by Shop Local QC, the market features a rotating mix of local vendors offering everything from boutique fashion and handmade jewelry to vintage finds, home decor, baked goods and more.
Because the vendor lineup changes throughout the season, shoppers can expect a mix of new businesses and returning favorites at each market. It’s an opportunity to discover local brands and makers while spending an afternoon exploring Birkdale Village.
Two dates remain on the 2026 calendar:
- September 13
- October 11
Both markets will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For Lake Norman residents looking to shop local this fall, the Commons Market adds two more opportunities to browse small businesses and locally made goods in Huntersville before the market season wraps up in October.
Local businesses and makers interested in participating can also apply to become vendors through Shop Local QC.
